Today Room 3 and Room 4 spent the day at the beach learning about safety when using the beach. The day covered lots of important information about how to use the beach environment well, including how to identify rips and what to do if caught in a rip. There were a variety of cool activities including games outside on the beach and making sand sculptures. The highlight though, was probably the swimming. The waves didn't look big from the beach but they sure made an impact when they hit you. There was lots of squealing when the waves hit (some of the squealing was from me too!) but it was great fun. What a great day out!

Hi Room 3! That looked like a fun day. Last year when I was in Year 7, we went to the beach to have a Beach Clean-Up Day. I enjoyed looking at the photos of your sand creations. I hope that you enjoyed it.
