My body camouflaged into the posh leather seats no one can see me. Here I am, lying quietly in an uninteresting car where the only thing to is to scare my unsuspecting prey out of their wits. Oh the excitement, oh the fun. Person approaching 3,2,1 go. "Woof" I start my act. My mouth starts drooling uncontrollably , he just dropped a packet of perfectly fine dog treats on the ground! Hang on, something is different. Instead of running away he is trying to scare me, ME! Finally he has gone. Just as I start to relax, a thud brings me back to my senses. Reeling around I see the strange creature again. This time I have something on my side. A scream of shock escapes his lips as I start winding down the window. Just another boring day in the car. Big blue ears heard everything, the creaking door, rattling windows and the soft whistling of the wind. Ugly pawprints sank into the never ending layers of dust, scarring the chair for life. Whiskers twitched wanting to feel something other than the thick layers of dust that caked them. Cushioned paws stood still, each one carefully placed, waiting for something to change. Bright green eyes glossed over with the thought of being alone. Sitting in that deserted house where the only light was the neverending glow of the proud lightbulb had effects on anyone including the chair sitting in the middle of the room. Tent description
The wind screamed around my minuscule tent. Even though I was only 600 feet up, I could already feel the changing elements. Instead of the warm sun, azure sky, fluffy cotton-ball clouds and clear water down below, there was a blinding blizzard that sucked all the warmth out of my half-thawed body. Sipping a warm mug of hot chocolate, I stopped. I had thought I was alone and isolated, that was why I had taken on the dangerous job of mapping and explaining this desolate landscape. Voices pierced the silence; I knew I was not alone anymore. Isabelle !nudge is a site that lets you create electronic music. Crawling through the long grass, I stopped. The forest was dark and eerie, the only lights were the pinpricks that came through from the shining moon. I knew the adults were out there, like monsters ready to pounce on their unsuspecting prey. Heart pounding I started to move towards the protection of the trees. Next minute, “Ow who’s pulling my hair?”,the trees long spindly fingers had grasped fine hair. As I tried to pull free, the wind seemed to whisper “Adult, adult, up their behind the tree”. My heart stopped for a split second and I froze as the eyes of a monster scanned over my head. I heard the voice of an excited adult “Spotlight”. As the eyes of the monster faded away I ripped my hair free and frantically scrambled up the bank to the path. The adults were everywhere, behind almost every tree and all with the same goal, to catch an innocent child. I quickly and quietly dropped to the ground. I could taste the dirt in my mouth and could feel the mud clinging to my skin. As I scrambled up the final bank I heard excited babble “Did you make it?” I had succeeded in conquering the dark and eerie forest and I had escaped the adults with their monster-like eyes. Sleep called me. I could not wait to curl up in my warm relaxing, sleeping bag. By Isabelle Hello my name is Isabelle. I love music and netball.
