My Tent Story
I curled up inside my sleeping bag, vulnerable to the cold and chills that lurked outside. I sat there, staring at the shiny white snow that lay on the ground. Suddenly the howling wind stopped. I stood up, bracing myself. As I zip up my ski jacket, I take a few steps outside. My smile nearly froze on my face, it was so cold. The snow crumbled like cornflakes beneath my feet. I hear birds screeching, cheering for me. I feel like I can do anything, I’m invincible.
It feels so peaceful out here, if only it was warmer. Outside, the cold seeps into my bones. But it's so worth it! The peace, the serenity, everything about it. I want to stay here forever, on my tiny mountain, in paradise.
